A difference Aram can feel and his family can see

Meet Aram. After years of struggling with symptoms, he was diagnosed with obstructive HCM. Since being on CAMZYOS his symptoms, ability to be active, and obstruction have improved. Now, he’s finally checking off a personal goal he’s been wanting to tackle, together with Nate Berkus himself.

“I’ve always loved doing projects in my home...so not being able to tackle things in the house was hard for me. Thanks to CAMZYOS, my symptoms have improved, and I feel like I’m doing more again. I know my family sees the difference.”

How CAMZYOS helped him step back in

CAMZYOS made a difference for Aram and his activity level. He was finally ready to start the home project he and his wife had put off for years – one that would let them finally have friends and family visiting and making memories together.

Nate Berkus, interior design expert, stepped in to help Aram transform his home office into the guest room he and his wife always wanted.

“I love seeing Aram being more active again, doing the things he loves. I really see a difference in him.”
– Laura, Aram’s wife

For Nate, it wasn’t just a design project. It was a chance to help Aram achieve a dream he had for so long.

With Nate’s help, Aram was hands-on during the renovation. Painting, hanging family photos, and helping to rearrange the room. For Aram, this was proof that his symptoms were getting better.

“Aram’s oHCM goal was to reduce the obstruction in his heart. But what he really wanted was to create a space for his family.”
– Nate Berkus, designer

“Having open conversations with your doctor about your goals is important but sometimes difficult. I found writing down what you want to discuss is helpful. I encourage you to check out this conversation guide. This version includes some of my goals and helpful talking points that may inspire you too.”
